“It’s a different world down there.” 30 Rock mocked the scuba diver’s mantra and although we like to mock as much as the next guy, how else do you describe the wonder of undersea life? Pipefish, boxfish, clown or anemone fish, flying gurnard, frogfish, hairy frogfish, cuttlefish, hermit crabs, banded shrimp, transparent shrimp, mantis shrimp, seahorses, pigmy seahorses, nudibranchs, wonderpus, wonderwhat? We can’t even remember what all these creatures are called. It IS a different world down there. Eff it, let’s go diving.
