The Salton Sea is located in the Colorado Desert in Southern California. Being long time California residents we’d wanted to visit for sometime, we’d heard it could be an interesting place for photos. It didn’t disappoint. It’s surface is near two hundred and forty feet below sea level. There’s quite a ghost town feel to this inland sea with a depth of only five feet. We came across this structure and played dystopian dropouts for a few hours.
